This will be a fortnightly, informal discussion of one or two poems per session. These poems will be about faith, doubt and what it is to be a Christian. We hope that members of the group will be able to enrich their faith by discussing what great poets have explored in their verse. But we want to emphasize that the group is intended foreveryone whether you have any knowledge of poetry or not! The accent will be on enjoyment and the exchange of experiences and ideas inspired by the poems. In the sessions before and during Advent we shall discuss poetry by Betjeman, Hardy, T. S. Eliot and others. More details to follow.
For families with children aged 5-11 (there will be creche activities for younger children). This is a free event aims to bring families together to celebrate Pentecost and enjoy worship, activities, games and refreshments – there will be food trucks and an ice-cream van there all day.

Come and join us as we meet in the church to praise God and pray for His kingdom to come. This event is part of the global wave of prayer, involving churches from many denominations and more than a hundred countries. We will be hearing about the Kingdom of God and praying using prayer stations, which will be available for use during the week as well. We’d love to see you there. Come and pray.
